Howdy!
If you’re here, you may be looking for a therapist for yourself or your closest relationships. My private practice is based in the heart of Lake Oswego, Oregon. I work with individuals and relationships to unpack long-standing patterns.
Sessions with me are engaging, collaborative, and authentic. I’m excited when you nail a new recipe and want to hear about your fun weekend plans. I don’t expect you to be a robot, and neither am I.
During session, I often slow things down and pay attention to what’s happening in the moment and explore past experiences. I’m less interested in quick fixes and more curious about what’s underneath; understanding it and connecting the dots.
If you’d like to nerd out, my approach draws on Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, Attachment, and Structural Family Therapy.
Therapy is vulnerable. I’ve been on both sides of the couch and know it works best when the fit feels right, and you can be yourself. Consider this an invitation to trust your gut.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me listening to a podcast, wandering Trader Joe’s, admiring flowers, or palling around with my Great Dane, Harley.

What can I expect from the first session?
The first session can bring a lot of nerves… understandably!
Before we meet, you will have completed intake paperwork with information about what brings you in and some history about you or your relationship.
When you arrive (in person or virtually), we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk through your current concerns and goals. There is structure to the session, but also plenty of room to shift and follow what feels most important in the moment.
My hope is that you leave the first session feeling understood and with a clearer sense of what our work together can look like.
